easter egg

Welcome back bloggy, I’ve missed you! Well what do we have here? Radioactive neon green matte satin rubber impossible to find here you are, you are finally home!!!! Huge and delayed thanks to a lovely lacquer friend for gifting me this elusive gem.

As for formula, it’s thick and a bit hard to control as far as streakiness vs. opacity, especially taking into consideration there will be no topcoat. However I managed to get it pretty level in between two and three coats. The color and effect were well worth the effort (as you can see the camera is a little unsure about the brightness).

Orly Matte FX Collection

This collection did not catch my eye at Sally's, but my bf decided to come in that night and for some reason he got very excited over this (so sweet) and I'm glad he did.

With the creative name of "Pink Flakie Top Coat" (an easy to apply, two-coater, matte rainbow flakie top coat) we got these gorgeous results over OPI Black Onyx.

I hope to do more pics and I think I will because I definitely plan on wearing this magical combo again soon.

more texture

Another textured polish from Zoya, Vespa from the Pixie Dust collection in a pale celadon or maybe pale pistachio that I feel like I've been seeing a lot of lately in polishes and otherwise.

Best application I've had from a Zoya yet. I even liked it a bit sheer in one coat, so I did one coat on one hand and two on the other. I had someone remark on how sparkly it was, even in dim lighting. I did really enjoy wearing this one and it wore quite well. Can't wait to try the black one!

I'm SO BORED

With everything else--so I really hope I have time to do my nails tonight :) and so on that note, let's start the month off right, with this new Liquid Sand from OPI, called The Impossible, I think.

One of the only blue-based (it is, right?) pinks I've ever works on me, ever. It reminds me so much of cherry chapstick brand chapstick. I was expecting to hate this, but it was way more beautiful than I expected and wore really well. Not too bad to remove, either. I'm wondering if any of the other texture polishes drastically differ in their look or feel.
