Vampy Vesper

Vesper is my last bond girl Liquid Sand from OPI, I thought I had posted it, but I hadn't. I think this might be surprise my favorite. My bf picked this out. It looks really ugly and brown in the bottle--but don't be fooled ;) The black glitter effect in the dark purple sheer polish is just beautiful and gem-like.

I think it takes about 18 hours to dry into the gorgeous blackened purple--so give it a chance before dismissing it as a plain black. The longer it dries, the lighter it gets. I've worn it twice already and I love it. It takes 2-3 coats to get fully opaque.

Pardon the tip wear.

  1. Wow, I have totally dismissed this polish until now. I may have to buy it now!

  2. Yes, I think that many people don't wait for it to dry fully, but it takes awhile for it to get to its lightest color or at least that has been my experience :)

  3. I think most of the swatches I've seen online are darker because they weren't fully dry. I even thought some of them still look WET.

  4. I totally agree with you! I know some people swatch multiples in a day and I am absolutely jealous of those people. I do not have the patience for that :( but at the same time, at least I get to discover more about the polish--and for instance with some polishes like RBLs...for me they take like 24 hours to dry fully, haha.
